I can be completely out of place, and don't know what I'm talking about. Unless we're playing some sort of dungeon, or we're chatting on mic to get acquainted that way, or we're friends already that we joined a hub together the game feels like a single player game, and so I feel I "finish" the game and never have to log back in again. Not because there isn't anything to do per se, because we still have stuff like the mulitplayer hives, and OLT, and the challenge passes, but it's because I don't get to interact freely with other people to feel like there's a community. I'll play the awesome content CD makes for avengers in the dlcs, and then I'd just feel done with avengers and leave until another dlc. In a sense, I want a more community driven game, rather than a bigger focus on the story and immersion of the singleplayer narrative style. I just wish this direction was switched to something like an MMORPG to really attract a larger fanbase who plays and spends a lot of their time on MMORPGs in general. They made this game a very singleplayer-driven game, that just happened to have multiplayer in the game. Like don't get me wrong, this is basically an MMORPG game but without the "open world" aspect of it, because we're just either chilling in our ship, or in our hub, and we only do dungeons, but I personally feel this game lacks a community feeling (besides the outside world connections like reddit and discord), as a result of the current minimal interaction possibilities with other players. Like guild wars 2, bless unleashed, destiny, or even genshin impact, where we have a world map to move around in and see other players and do things together, and partake in events, and level up and grind that way, and so on.
